Artwork Specification

In order for us to process your artwork quickly and efficiently, please supply artwork in the following preferred format:
  • Positioned using our design template (provided FOC)
  • Supplied in Adobe Illustrator (EPS) format
  • All print areas are filled with the appropriate Pantone colour references (unlessCMYK process)
  • 5mm bleed off all printed edges and 1.5mm trapping between colours should be applied for screen print reproduction.
  • All text converted to outlines if practical.

Artwork can be received via Email, Zip disk or CD ROM. Please note that we use a PC based Email system which can cause file type errors on some files that have been Emailed from a Mac system.

If in doubt then please send your artwork files to us on a CD. If possible, please supply a colour laser copy of your artwork for interpretation.

If films are to be supplied then please ensure the above guidlines are followed and that the films are supplied as positive, emulsion side up and have a 65 lpi dot screen applied to any halftone areas.

Please note: Following the above requirements will enable us to best process your artwork. However, we can receive all types of artwork files such as Quark (Mac), Freehand (Mac), Photoshop (Mac & PC), CorelDraw (PC).

PDF files are also acceptable but please ensure that all text is converted into outlines so that no font matching errors delay the processing of the artwork and that all photographic images are high resolution.

Please call us to discuss if you can not supply artwork to the above specification (Tel: 0845 4567 007).

Any additional Mac time incurred from your supplied artwork will be charged at a fixed fee of £50 and then £50 per hour thereafter.
