It is really our role as a ring binder manufacturer which has led us to specialising in manufacturing binders and many other presentations and packaging products from the range of materials we use most – paper-over-board, PVC, polypropylene and, more recently, part recycled polypropylene.
More and more customers are choosing polypropylene ring binders today as the material is 100% recyclable and indeed part recycled polypropylene is also available for production.
Ring binders may appear to be an everyday product, but there are several manufacturing processes involved in their production.
The choice of material is just one step in the production process, however. Although, in common with other ring binder suppliers, we do have a standard range of binders, most of our manufacturing of ring binders is dedicated to supplying customised binders.
That is why we have a choice of welding processes, ultrasound, HF or heat, so we can choose the one best suited to the material.
To achieve this we need an adaptable and flexible approach as customers demand ring binders in many different sizes, not just standard A4 or A5, and with different types of ring mechanisms, D-ring, O-ring, 2-ring, 4-ring, locking etc.
As we work with so many different industries the needs of our customers vary enormously, especially when it comes to the printing on their ring binders, so we offer litho, digital, screen printing and foil blocking as options.
