Printed plastic ring binders and printed ring binders generally, usually A4 or A5 size, have become a part of everyday life in business, education and in people’s personal lives.

At Phillips Plastics, printed ring binders are certainly a part of everyday life as we manufacture A4 and A5 printed binders almost every day. 

Whilst we manufacture in paper-over-board, PVC, polypropylene and part recycled polypropylene, it is often the printing that brings the finished ring binders or plastic ring binder to life and customises them to each individual customer.

Phillips Plastics can produce printed ring binders made from any of these materials and printed in any number of colours.  Printing on plastic is now almost as commonplace as printing on paper and hence Phillips Plastics can print ring binders in a variety of ways.

Litho printing gives very high quality results with bright, lively colours but, just as when you print on sheets of paper, needs a reasonable print run to be at its most cost effective.

Digital print has improved immensely in recent years, to the point where the results can now be so close to litho that it is hard for even a print expert to tell the difference.  Digital offers more flexibility and is well suited to smaller quantities, especially where there is a need for full-colour imagery.

For printed binders where a simpler one-or two-colour print is required screen printing remains a feasible option, particularly where the quantity required is not too large.

Foil blocking is an alternative that can add something special to your printed ring binder.
