A Phillips Fairytale - Shrek Forever Apple Dispenser

Once upon a time...

Back in 2004 Phillips were asked to produce a printed header made in polypropylene for an existing point of sale dispenser. The finished merchandising unit promoted their Chapstick range in pharmacies and supermarkets throughout the UK.

Following on from this success our customer set us another challenge and asked if we could produce not just the header but the entire dispensing unit in polypropylene in such a way that it resembled the shape of a Chapstick. Our design team set to work and mocked up some samples for the customer to approve & after a few tweaks here & there, produced the finished Chapstick Tower, designed to hold over 200 sticks but with the minimum of footprints. The design also enabled the tower to be easily refilled on site making it a reusable item. The first wave of Towers were launched back in early 2007. Since then sales of the product have boomed!

 

This year our customer placed a substantial order to promote a new flavour of Chapstick to tie in with the new DreamWorks Shrek 3 film. With the Quantity involved & the imminent release of the film, we had all hands on deck to meet the deadline. Our customer created some striking artwork & the finished towers looked fantastic!
